Aida Association is proud to announce its second upcoming Erasmus+ project: “Building a Harmonious Society Together: Combating Disinformation, Xenophobia, and anti-Muslim hatred through Youth Work.”
Project Overview:
“Building a Harmonious Society Together” is a youth mobility project designed to address pressing global issues – disinformation, xenophobia, and anti-Muslim hatred. In the heart of Berlin, we aim to bring together 35 change makers from Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands for a transformative experience.
The Need for Unity:
In a world witnessing the agonizing struggles in Gaza and the ongoing fight for justice in Ukraine, our project gains greater significance. Now, more than ever, the need for unity, understanding, and collective action is palpable.
Objectives:
Our project has three core objectives: combatting disinformation to foster informed societies, addressing xenophobia to promote unity in diversity, and confronting anti-Muslim hatred through understanding and dialogue.
Empowering Youth:
This project is a beacon for change makers, offering a platform for young individuals to become ambassadors of unity and social inclusion. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and collaborative activities, participants will develop the skills and mindset needed to drive positive change.
Key Activities:
From exploring the impacts of misinformation to engaging with local communities through innovative projects, our participants will embark on a journey that transcends borders and fosters connections.
Get Involved:
We invite young individuals aged 20-30, passionate about combatting disinformation and promoting harmony, to join us in Berlin in February 2024. The application form is available.
